Huella is a documentary film directed by Mosi Espinoza and Justine Berthillot.

During a month-long tour of an acrobatic performance organised by the circus couple in collaboration with Amazonian anthropologists and artists, they travelled throughout the Loreto region by canoe, sharing their art with eight indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon. By merging their bodies with the landscapes, they echo the political, ecological and spiritual struggles of the communities living in the Amazon rainforest and Peru. This artistic film project is conceived as a boat trip that navigates between excerpts from their in-situ performance, interviews with local residents, contemplation and zany, fictional scenes staged on location. For the two authors, it is a question of connecting art and life.
The film Huella was presented at the Amazon and Caribbean International Documentary Film Festival in October 2024 in the ‘Écrans parallèles’ selection at the Guyana International Documentary Festival.
