Flowerheads is a contemporary dance piece that conveys the pleasure of the ephemeral and the fragility of ecosystems.
Three baroque characters symbolise an ecosystem whose equilibrium is in flux. Insects, flowers, amphibians, fish and all kinds of creatures come to life through the exact movements of the performers. Reality and fantasy come together in this peculiar garden of delights.
The music, an original creation by Ed is Dead, enhances its dreamlike nature and generates sound environments that commune with nature.

The Elías Aguirre Company is a long-standing dance company based in Madrid with a unique vision of the world of the stage inspired by visible nature. In their creations, contemporary dance, urban dance and physical theatre techniques come together. Their latest pieces were premiered at the Teatros del Canal and have been performed at national and international festivals. Among the numerous awards and accolades received, mention must be made of the Alicia Alonso Ibero-American Award and the Burgos New York International Choreography Competition Award. Elías Aguirre, a multidisciplinary artist (dancer, choreographer, photographer and visual and audiovisual artist), is the founder of the company.
