Eruptions 2026
The eruptions serve as narrative threads weaving through the festival’s programme. These are often ideas that spontaneously arise, without being sought out. They grow more intense as the participating creators share the core of their artistic projects with us. Frequently, it’s a single word that reverberates, concealed within diverse formats or aesthetics, yet it transports us to a realm of shared inquiry and exploration.
WALKING
Walking as a poetic act. Walking as a political act. Moving on foot, whether for pleasure or out of necessity. Going from one place to another with a purpose or wandering freely. Mapping spaces with your body, imagining paths with your mind.Follow the signs: stop, walk, no entry here, tie your dog here – this path is open to pedestrians. To stroll through a place is to understand it, to take it in. That’s why the WALKING eruption of Sismògraf 26 invites you to move through the performances, walk alongside the performers of the piece you’ll see on arrival, listen attentively as you go and explore everyday corners that are transformed into stages... So put on comfortable shoes and come join us!
WELL-BEING
We invite you to experience an eruption that strips the word of its commercial connotations and reconnects it with its deeper meaning: feeling comfortable, healthy and happy. It’s a sense of well-being that goes beyond intellectual and spiritual fulfilment, encompassing mindfulness and self-awareness, as well as care for the body – both individually and collectively. With this in mind, we offer a journey that celebrates the diversity of bodies and encourages you to engage with your own, whether as a spectator or as an active participant.
