DRAWN NARRATIVE

Partitura de moviment dibuixat is a joint creation initiative devised and produced by Maria Camila Sanjinés. This project is developed through a series of actions that begins with a dialogue between Maria Camila Sanjinés and a number of Sismògraf companies, from painting to the performing arts, and concludes with a video-collage. During the process, flags will be created for the festival’s Epicentre and a record of digital drawings, photos and videos will be produced. The idea is to broaden the visual narrative exercises and drawn records that Maria Camila Sanjinés has been making over the last editions of Sismògraf.

Maria Camila Sanjinés (Bogotá) is a Colombian artist based in Catalonia. Her work focuses on the link between art and other disciplines, constantly taking the action of interchanging as the basis for creation. Her drawn narrative project portrays performing arts pieces through the subjective lines of drawing. She is a member of Artistas Salchichas, a collective with which she has been intertwining her work as a visual artist and the performing arts.
