There’s something concealed in our memories. And there’s also something fractured. What lies hidden morphs, shifting from flamenco to urban, from the personal to the communal. The broken parts bear less weight, and the allure of Al-Andalus enables us to convey one thing, even though, honestly, we’d like to express another.
We embody art and nonchalance; we relish humour, embracing the diversity of our entire journey, wearing our hearts on our sleeves, and ensuring the rhythm never falters.

tú te acuerdâ de lo que te e dixo?
Ea, pô eço, no te bayâ a orbidá.

Colectivo Premohs, a dance ensemble rooted in the culture of Andalusia, draws its primary inspiration from its place of origin. Their artistic endeavours weave together urban dances, contemporary scenes and flamenco rhythms. The collective was set up in 2016, sparked by a journey to participate in the Block Party held in Boulder, Colorado. Motivated by a shared vision, four Andalusian artists came together to carve out a space and artistic language that would distinctly characterise them. Their choreographic creations often delve into themes of roots, coexistence and cultural and linguistic peculiarities. The collective was selected for the Red Acieloabierto network of contemporary dance festivals in 2019. That same year, they won the top prize in the Burgos and New York Choreography Contest, specifically in the Urban Dance category.
