MudarseInstalarse is a dance piece that delves into the longing for permanence and, simultaneously, the fears that this very notion instils in us. It contemplates the illusion created by the fact that only one thing, just one, remains steadfast. However, there are those who openly declare themselves in a state of constant change, not only at a spatial level but also on a personal one.
MudarseInstalarse introduces to the realm of dance the necessary adaptation to our fluid and ever-changing contemporary existence.
Conceived by Luna Sánchez Arroyo in collaboration with La Basal, it reflects on the work Species of Spaces (1974) by the French author Georges Perec.

Luna Sánchez Arroyo is a dancer and creator from Andalusia. She has collaborated with artists like Rocío Barriga and Ana F. Melero, and has performed under the direction of Guillermo Weickert, Jesús Rubio Gamo, María Cabeza de Vaca, Marta Pazos and Poliana Lima, among others. Since 2019, she has been a member of La Basal, a collective of young creators, while also pursuing her individual projects. The condensed version of MudarseInstalarse (2021) has been featured in various festivals such as La Mercè, Esclat Dansa, Xativa Baila, Circuito Bucles, Beta Pública and Pla Roig. In 2022, she premiered the full theatrical rendition of the same piece at Teatro Pradillo in Madrid and introduced mudarseSINinstalarse, a site-specific performance presented at the XX Cádiz en Danza festival.
