A contemporary dance work exploring the act of looking – a shared, inclusive and empathetic gaze.

The Eva Durban Company is an intergenerational, diverse ensemble of professional and amateur dancers who move with and listen to the story of movement. This new creation focuses on the gaze, especially that of the observer – seeing without excluding anyone and the collective act of seeing.

Eva Durban is a dancer, choreographer and teacher. She trained at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, the Theaterschool Dansafdeling for New Dance Development in Amsterdam, and in New York with Martha Graham, Lynn Simonson and Alvin Ailey. In 2006, she founded the Centre d’Arts Escèniques (CAE) in Jaén and the company Volans danza. In 2015, she launched the CorArt school and the inclusive dance company Eva Durban, which has premiered works such as ENTRE, co-produced by El Canal (Salt) and premiered at the Sismògraf 2024 festival.
