DE UNA EN UNA [versos sobre un tejado errante]

De una en una [versos sobre un tejado errante] is a performing arts project that combines features of visual theatre, dance and object theatre. It stars three performers and forty-seven old tiles, possibly handmade. The performers manipulate the tiles, build moving architectures and explore the sound produced by their actions. There is a negotiation between the body and the material, between the skin and the tiles, between roughness, fragility and weight. De una en una [versos sobre un tejado errante] is fascination for craftsmanship and rural work, it is teamwork and, at the same time, a commitment to the poetics of silence and landscapes in transformation. A piece that tends to dwell in the shadows and nooks of the city: cloisters, courtyards, abandoned factories, plots under reconstruction, etc.

Metrica barbara is a physical theatre company that seeks to investigate, share and delineate a performative language that lies between the classic and the divergent. Her research plays between the interstices of: the beauty, the brutal and the bastard.
// BEAUTY. We stumble upon the idea of elegance
