MAPADEBALL / VIBRAR EL TIEMPO

Mapadeball is a classroom-based initiative that fosters artistic practice and contemporary dance aimed at second-year secondary school students in the county (Cor de Maria, Escola Pia, Greda and Bosc de la Coma). The overriding goal is to make the language of movement and contemporary dance more accessible to young audiences, both on an individual and collective level.

Vibrar el tiempo is the title of the group choreography that shall be presented at the Teatre Principal in Olot as the culmination of this process of artistic practice in the classroom. The artistic director of Mapadeball 2022 is João Lima, a choreographer and performer with a longstanding career as a theatre and dance instructor.
