Granotes al cel, aigua a la terra! Rituals i danses de la pluja (Invoquem la pluja)
Banda Esfèrica
In case of rain
You will be invited to celebrate with dance and music – because dancing in the rain is sexy.
Don't miss the water-based version of Granotes al cel, aigua a la terra! Rituals i danses de la pluja, a proposal that can only be seen if and while it rains.
Check social media for updates on when the rain is expected and when the performance will begin.
For the wet-weather version, come prepared with umbrellas and/or waterproof clothing.
A collective, participatory ritual to summon the rain and reconnect with our sky – a celebration of both rain and life itself.
Granotes al cel, aigua a la terra! Rituals i danses de la pluja invites audiences to take part in an invocation of the rain through dance, sound and active participation. This festive, open and participatory piece moves between popular celebrations, urban dance, documentary theatre and performance, blurring the line between reality and fiction.
Dancing together to call on Mother Nature for rain may not bring the rain, but it offers a playful way to question things about ourselves, relate to one another differently, build community and offer a poetic, humorous tribute to rain itself.
