Preposició

The world turned upside down: the audience on stage, the dancers in the auditorium.

Preposició is a dance intervention in the auditorium of the Teatre Principal d’Olot. Andrea Díaz Reboredo, Eva Durbán and Kelsang Padrosa join forces in a visual work that brings together body, objects and space.
The audience takes its place on stage – shifting the usual perspective – and faces empty stalls. A different (pre)position, one that inverts the point of view and opens onto a choreography of scenes, images and poetic moments that arise from the scenic space itself and from everything that might unfold within it.

Andrea Díaz Reboredo works as a stage director, set designer, performer and object manipulator. Her works have won awards at Festival Telpa Daugavpils, Festival Titeremurcia, Fira Titelles de Lleida and Festival d’Ovar. She is a member of the collective Casa·Teatro and director of La Cositera, a centre for object theatre.
Eva Durban is a dancer, choreographer and teacher. In 2015 she founded the school CorArt and the inclusive dance company Eva Durban, with which she has presented pieces including ENTRE, which premiered at Sismògraf 2024.
Kelsang Padrosa has trained in modern and contemporary dance. She has worked with choreographers including André Gingras, Andrea Boll, Arno Schuitemaker and Atsushi Takenouchi, and has specialised in David Zambrano’s Flying Low and Passing Through techniques. She is a member of 50 Collective.
