From the Greek pân (all) and hórama (view) the word Panorama was used by the Irish painter Robert Baker to describe his cylindrical paintings. His landscapes create an immersive experience that invites contemplation and reflection. What is our place in this landscape?
Raquel Gualtero also pushes us towards a state of contemplation, towards a journey through various strangely familiar imaginaries. Her body is the centre of the landscape. Her gestures become infinite choreographies. Panorama is a dance solo that transports us to an intimate, unique and non-transferable place. A place traversed by a voice that belongs to us and that transforms the moulds we have created for ourselves. It may be a strange, inhospitable, and unexpected place, but it is certainly a place we yearn for.

Raquel Gualtero Soriano graduated in contemporary dance from the Theatre School / Graduate School of the Arts Amsterdam in 2005. As a dancer she has worked internationally in companies such as the Scottish Dance Theatre, the Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre and Romeo Castellucci. At national level, she has worked with directors such as Àngels Margarit, Àlex Rigola and Pere Faura. As an author, she made her debut in 2005 with Blanco, which was part of the renowned IT International Theatre School Festival. Persona earned her the 2011 Injuve Award for young creation. Brut, Nuà (performed at Sismògraf 2019) and the trilogy formed by Amaro, Orama and Panorama complete her work as a choreographer.
