A duo combining contemporary dance, acrobatics and hip hop who bring theatre, humour and the absurd into play. A perfect piece to enjoy the dance festivities in Sant Joan les Fonts.
Vlad Ion and Guillem Batlle (Companyia Shalott) are contemporary dance performers. Cosas serias... (2021) was their first creation. They employ humour as a tool to bring contemporary dance closer to a mixed crowd and make it more accessible. Shalott, another of his pieces that can also be seen in the Sismògraf 2022, focuses on creating performance-related images and an atmosphere that allows abstract concepts to be tackled from different standpoints.
