Itineraris 2026 Discover Sismògraf Circus

A work that invites audiences to wander and enjoy a journey peppered with circus scenes and performative situations.

Le lichen prend racine comme Rosa prend le bus is created specifically for each location, emerging from an in-situ creative process. Compagnie d'iElles will undertake a creative residency in Olot, opening up spaces for exchange, knowledge-sharing, co-creation and inspiration, with the aim of shaping a narrative and an artistic proposal rooted in contemporary circus.
The work offers an artistic, inclusive and ecofeminist interpretation of the landscape – a collection of poetic actions and situations that seek to repair silences, open spaces for dialogue and bring forgotten stories to light.

Based in Occitania since 2004, Compagnie d'iElles is closely associated with the work of Yaëlle Antoine, who trained at the Annie Fratellini Circus School and Esacto-Lido. For Antoine, public space is a privileged artistic territory, enabling her to explore her social and political concerns through mediation work and artistic interventions. Lames Sœurs, co-written with Paola Rizza, was awarded the Beaumarchais Prize (2007). In 2014 she created Be Felice, Hippodrame Urbain, her first promenade performance with headphones. Liesse(s) (2021) marked a turning point in her practice, driven by a desire to work in a purely choreographic form. Antoine is currently co-writing with Sarah Simili the three-year project Reboot, focused on critical and inclusive pedagogies and their application within the circus arts.
