Set against a natural backdrop, this athletics track accentuates the values of the existing landscape and bring athletics races closer to nature. The track is built in a clearing in a common oak forest, in a hollow, which is closed to the forest and from where the view of the forest is enhanced. Adjacent forest, remote forest and far-off forest are the relationships forged between the track and the landscape and that enhance the seating tiers as small terraces or as a slope between clearings.
