Plaça de l'U d'octubre

Plaça de l’U d’Octubre, formerly known as Plaça del Teatre, was renamed to commemorate the Catalan independence referendum held on 1 October 2017.
This square occupies a large area between the boulevard Passeig d’en Blay and the street Carrer dels Dolors. Thanks to its location next to Olot’s Teatre Principal, it has become one of the regular Sismògraf stages. This year, in addition to hosting a number of performing arts proposals, it will be the festival’s Epicentre, somewhere to relax and unwind, to engage in conversation, to see installations or simply to watch time go by.
